Wapta Falls is a waterfall of the Kicking Horse River located in Yoho National Park in British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest waterfall of the Kicking Horse River, at about 18 metres (59 ft) high and 107 metres (351 ft) wide. Its average flow can reach 96 cubic metres per second (3,400 cu ft/s). The name stems from a Nakoda word meaning.

One is to drive Beaverfoot Rd back to HWY 1 and turn West until you see the sign for Wapta Falls on your right.

Wapta Falls Hike is an awesome hike in Yoho National Park, where you can even get close for a refreshing spray. You get a huge reward for a small effort when you visit Wapta Falls. We've been to Yoho National Park and hiked to Wapta Falls many times. And I'm still amazed how such an easy hike gives you such a great reward.
